Parent and Baby Film Screenings

London mums, dads and babies get the best of both worlds at the loads of parent and baby film screenings throughout the capital.

Why you should go:
Don’t deny it, new parents – there’s quite a possibility you’ve got on baby blinders. While your new baby is undoubtedly the most fantastically well-behaved child the world has ever seen, chances are not everyone agrees with you – especially in the cinema. So unless you want to be shushed into oblivion, perhaps its best if you and your baby went along to some parent and baby film screenings instead.

Don’t miss:
Check out these parent and baby film screenings, where you and your baby can watch (and cry) in peace.

Get artsy at the excellent indie favourite Everyman Cinema Club. They show everything from arthouse classics to new releases, and slightly older kids are welcome too.

Just for kids under one (and their parents or carers, of course), West Londoners can watch the latest films at the Electric in Notting Hill.

Indecisive parents should make for the Clapham Picturehouse, where the parent and baby screenings feature a choice of two films. Make up your mind – and the baby’s - right before the show.

Got kids growing up in Greenwich? Lucky for you, the Greenwich Picturehouse is home to a parent and baby film club.

And if you’ve got a Brixton baby, the Ritzy’s got you covered. Choose from two films and let the little ones go wild.

And if your kids are a bit too old to have the patience to sit through a film with a screaming baby soundtrack, the Barbican can entertain them as easy as 1 2 3. The theme for July’s family film club is simply magic.
